Seasons come,silly season starts as we know.Why every time some hardly known player,comes r way with 3'4'5 other nobodys as specaltion to join our club ,that we have never seen play,we get execited.

I can't understand all this talk about us neding to buy a bunch of players... We have good goalkeeping with cover, and good defensive talents to draw on in all four positions. We have an embarrasment of riches in Midfield and up front we have Jelavic and potentially vellios if Jelly gets hurt. Cahill is fading fast but we have 2-3 players who can play that role off the striker in our overfull midfield bucket. what we really lack is what we have lacked for several seasons, wide players with speed and talent. We have tried to shoe horn several midfielders in those roles but they lack either one or the other of those skills. Pienaar would be one of those players, as would Donovan. this should be the single area of focus. Lord knows we need to save our cash!
