We all know we need a striker tbh.

But one thing that could make us all furious is that if a striker comes in and starts, surely Mikel will be moved wide AGAIN.

He's been so good in the centre, that if Moyes moved him out wide, he'll not only become isolated again but we'd also lose his influence.

I really cba with Mikel back on the wing. He's made the position his own. Moyes won't drop Fellaini so his only option will be to drop Leon and move Mikel out wide.

I'd prefer him to move Neville to RB and drop Hibbert, allowing Mikel to become our DM, because being honest he plays as more of a DM then Neville anyway. Allowing Fellaini to move into the centre and Cahill to play behind the striker.

Cba or what?

Howard

Neville - Jagielka - Yobo - Lescott

Pienaar - Arteta - Fellaini - Baines

Cahill - Jo

That will do me

Interesting, its what i think about whenever we get a striker linked and also what happens when Yak comes back. I think Fellaini will get moved to Nevilles postion and Neville will maybe go to back to RB or even god forbid RM!!

He cant drop Cahill, Fellaini, Arteta, Pienaar, thats for sure and i doubt Mikel will move back to the wing.

I think that Moyes wouldn't make that mistake because it would change something that's working.

I don't see Arteta moving anywhere from his central role regardless of who we bring in.

He found his form again after being moved in there, so no reason to dump him out wide again IMO.

He won't move back now, he's a central midfielder. Moyes proved that when he brought the inexperienced Gosling in against Boro just so he could keep Mikel centrally. He knows the impact Arteta has on the team from that position.

It's all about having options really, we need options.

I think any forward would come in for Hibbert, move Neville to RB, Fellaini back to the centre with Arteta with Cahill supporting the forward.

There's no guarantee he'd start straight away anyway, if it's Jo he can't play in the derby for a start but we need options, even if they're sitting on the bench waiting for their chance

Cahill needs to stay up front for me, he's played the best ive ever seen him since he's been up front. I hate him in that gap behind the striker.

4-4-2, cahill up front with Jo, the rest can earn their places.

When yak is back I reckon this looks good

Howard

Hibbert - Jagielka - Lescott - Baines

Neville
Arteta - Fellaini

Jo - - - - - - - - - - - - Cahill
Yakubu
