Emile Heskey has far more and James Milner has as many caps as Roger Hunt and Bob Latchford combined.Too safety first ?

I was thinking about this before. We played Heskey to suit Michael Owen. Milner because of Glen Johnson's defending. Henderson to do Gerrard's running. England is the only team I know of that picks players more than for their own ability.

I agree and when you also see Scott Parker with 3 times as many caps as Bracewell, Harvey, Kendall and Osman between them it shows that 'footballers' don't always get their just rewards do they.

Emile Heskey was the perfect foil for Owen, he did a good job.
