TX Bill

Player Valuation: £80m
Got the junk yesterday. Sore throat, congestion, nasal drip. Knew it was gonna get worse. Doped up on Benadryl and Tylenol cold but really didn't help. Coughing all last night and felt horrible so took a shower at about 3am. Helped me to sleep the rest of the morning. Now just trying to get it out of my system with all of the aches that come with it. Naturally, couldn't make it in to work today.

On the bright side, I get to be on GOT when there are people on here. Nice change of pace.

This will make you feel better if you can watch it, I for the record could not.

I would like to own a gun, I don't want to use tx & his illness here like, but as a safety precaution if someone broke in to my home I totally support that " stand your ground " approach.

Get well TX!

Just loaded up on some more Tylenol Cold. Worst part is my parents flew in from CO yesterday to see the family and I obviously haven't been able to be a good host much less any kind of a host.

Get well soon, Bill.

When I'm ill, I like to play an epic video game...only been bedbound ill twice in the last 5 years, but really enjoyed Knights of the Old Republic and Final Fantasy VII during the week or so I was out of action. Takes your mind off feeling like shyte, the addled brain can surprisingly keep up once you get used to the controls.

Good idea.

Sad part is all I feel like doing is lying in bed.

Good thing there are some Europa matches on later or this day could have been a complete waste.

I'm reliably informed that the usual over the counter cold medicines are broadly useless for this sort of thing. Best to have lots of hot drinks with honey and lemon in them, and make sure you're topped up with vitamins etc.

Lemsips are amazing, get on them. They make you feel normal for 3 hours, then you get the comedown. Put kettle on and repeat.
