So, Cantona got a long ban and a suspended jail sentence for kicking some yob who ran down the steps and hurled abuse at him. Di Canio got something like a 12 match ban for pushing a ref over. In my opinion this is worse. It has to be...in the eyes of the law, he has assaulted a kid. If he doesn't get banned for a year and arrested then something is wrong with the system.

However, I agree, the kid got what he deserved

The kid definitely seemed like he was trying to keep the ball away, but is Hazard that dumb? "I'm in the middle of a televised match, by the ball, let me kick this kid who's being a twizzat...no one will notice."
