News is that hes free to leave Celtic end of the season..

A really potent midfielder. I think he'd be an excellent signing for us.

I know we appear to have reasonable resources in that department but we still need to add depth across the squad.

Without taking anything away from the 'heart' of recent performances I think we also need the extra quality to sustain success next season.

Dunno how much he'd cost though...?

I really dont have a clue...would do a good job though, especially with the Set Pieces.

Great player. But maybe to likey likey with Cahill and Fellaini.

Worth a punt if the price is right though.

I think he could adapt well. He always looks like he has more to offer when I see him for Celtic. SPL may be lacking in challenge for him to hit his full potential.

He wants to go home to Japan for his family though - wanted to go now, but Strachan convinced him to stay until the summer.

Already agreed to join Yokohama F. Marinos I think.

i'm not sure but i think that i heard something about him leaving celtic at the end of the season and wanting to move back to japan so he can finish his career there.

would be a good signing for us as he can play really well on both wings and is probably the greatest free-kick-taker in the world.

I think one of the issues would have to be his little kids growing up with a Glaswegian or Scouse accent - be absolutely buggered when they eventually moved back to Japan!...

Would be playing on my mind at least!...
