Clattenburg is a complete waste of space. He will never admit a mistake, but over this one he should be sacked. The FA also have been made to look like fools due to this.

God knows why and how that waste of space battenburg is still allowed to referee at all is beyond my scope of reasoning!!! The video replays shows he didnt see the incident!!! I was gonna put something down but might get reprimanded as my hatred towards him is far and beyond worse than my hatred for the RS

It was obvious it was going to happen.

Either Clattenburg saw it, and judged it abit wrongly, or he didnt see it, and gave a freekick for no reason other than seeing a commmotion.

Clattenburg was always going to go with the one that gets him off lightly. Its obvious he didnt see it, and just gave the freekick.

Either way he is in the wrong and he should be punished, yet another incident from him.

As for Rooney, the rule is ridiculous and he should be punished

The FA should have the balls to use video evidence when a referee clearly (even when he claims he did see something) and so blatantly misses something as important as that because it affects the flow and balance of the game.
