Show us your pumpkins

Last year Halloween hereabouts was called off for COVID.

This year my wife and I are both a mess and just can't be doling out treats to local hobgoblin youth.

My wife's especially bummed because she really likes carving and displaying pumpkins and dressing up and putting on a show for the cubs at the door. She also likes helping herself to the candy, but this year we haven't got any. Please cry for her tonight. I would but I'm afraid it'd make me asphyxiate.

You have to remember to have the face of the pumpkin turned outwards apparently to ward off evil spirits etc. I never knew that.
It's probably the reason why EFC haven't won anything for yonks.
