Should we have won the Wigan game?

Points dropped for Wigan rather than points gained for Everton.

Wasn't a great game for us, pleased with the point though.

Fair result. If one team had to win it I thought we were slightly the better, but they would've been unfortunate to lose. They caused us a lot of problems in the first half, and I don't think our midfield did enough to close them down.

and we hit the post again, as in unluckily hit the post and the ball rolled near the goal then to safety. not like the three times liverpool hit the outside of the post and were nowhere near going in. like ijjy said we should beat a team like wigan, but then again that's football. chelsea and man city will look at their games and believe they should win all 38 games because they are better than every other team. doesn't always work out like that. if you look at wigan, swansea and aston villa away, taking 7 points is a pretty good return for anybody. especially if you beat all these 3 at home as well.

They ripped our defense apart too many times to think we should have gotten anything more than a point.

It was a fair result. Moyes' tactical decisions should come under some serious (hopefully self-) review, because they weren't good enough. Defensively we were shambolic at times, and didn't exactly dominate the midfield either, but saying that we created enough chances; Mirallas should've had two. Figueroa's kick and Caldwell's shove should have been a penalty apiece for Jelavic, as well.

We basically lost the midfield battle of Osman/Neville to McCarthy/MacArthur, and Heitinga forgot his running boots and his tackling shinpads
