£35+ x 19 home league games per season is a lot.

Not been to the Allianz but I would bet the facilities are far better than ours ,plenty of ways to spend your Euro's instead of 20 mins for a cold pie & warm Chang.
Think we could all (every english club) learn from this.....as for Arsenal thats just ridiculous.

Can't believe nobody has ripped this to shreds.Or it's the equivalent of going to a concert. In which case, it's much cheaper than going to see has-beens Spandau Ballet at the Arena...

What?

That's terrible. Think the shirt prices are a joke for that level though. Maybe they should drop "brands" and get a Chinese company to make the £3 shirt for £3 and sell it for a reasonable price.I have family connections in York and go to watch York City a couple of times a year. An adult York City shirt costs something similar and it's about 20 quid to go on the terraces to watch a league 2 up an under game. From what I can gather this about normal for a league 2 ticket.
I think if you compare our ticket prices to this, we don't actually come out of it too badly, certainly better than a lot of other clubs. The tv money hasn't just affected the Premier League, the ripple effect has filtered down to all of the pro leagues bumping up wages, which in turn is reflected in ticket prices across the board .
Because of football agents.Taking all passion, bias, and trying to ignore the lack of business sense of reducing prices (for Everton anyway) out of it...
A Premier League match is basically 2 and a half hours of entertainment. It's the equivalent of going to see a blockbuster movie at the cinema.
A Premier League match ticket costs £30+.
A movie ticket costs £14 tops, probably cheaper if you go for lesser options.
25-30 years ago, going to the pictures cost the same as going to the match, a few quid tops.
Why is football now 2 to 3 times the cost of going to the cinema?
