Should things like this be acted on after the fact ?

the obvious answer is yes, pulis calls it right. sadly those in charge are morons. you get punished more for taking your shirt off scoring a last min winner

Ban loads of things on footy, diving is not one of the most important things.

No.

I'm old school,,, Tv replays will ruin the game..... if the ref sees it he gives it....if he don't you play on...simples.....some go for you some go against....move on.

The moment you as a player shout for a throw in or a corner that came off you or tell the ref you never touched that guy you chopped in half, you lose all right to complain about diving.

Let the Ref run the game... Not TV or newspapers...... sods law is they are not gonna get everything right all the time.

Refs don't though, these refs that are decent let the game flow, and you don't see them making a name for themselves. So if a third eye camera like hawk eye can spot a dive, or any of the ball incident, what does that take away from a good ref?

The **** refs that make a name for themselves or miss decisions consistently, they are the ones who should worry about technology undermining them, because it will replace their poor decisions making, and ultimately their jobs.

This doesn't make any sense. If there was a retrosective banning, it would be under the jurisdiction of those that enforce the laws of the game, not "TV or newspapers."

If there is no punishment of this sort of thing, it can reasonably argued that refs are not "running the game" particularly well and could maybe do with a bit of help.
