Should the Lower Gwladys be all standing?

Who would you pick to play upfront for Everton?

Player Valuation: £25k
Been superb in GT4 for FA Cup games, in my opinion everyone should stand for the whole game, not just when we are on the attack.

The idea for GT4 is for the area to grow and people who want to stand and sing to purchase season tickets there for next season, the Green Brigade at Celtic started with a few lads who wanted to change the atmosphere and eventually, hopefully, the lower Gwladys will become Partizan!

You could not pick a worse example mate.

Fred and Rosemary only started out pulling a few weeds from between the flags.

If the atmos you are trying to create is anything like what that lot do then count me out.

No.

People will stand up and sit down as and when they like. Safe standing costs a fortune to install and doesn't increase the attendance.

Good luck with the singing sections and stuff though if that's your bag, I'm all for people enjoying the game however they want to.

We're trying to create AN atmosphere, people will tell you the FA Cup games have been a lot lot better.

Safe standing areas cost a fortune to install? Every team in the prem has a section of the stadium where lots stand up, do you see anyone stand at Goodison bar a few lads at the back of the Gwladys?

Most prem teams do, we're one of the few set of fans that dont and we even sit down in some away games, joke.

Yes, imo standing gives a better atmosphere; going to the small clubs in the cups where its only standing at there is a better atmosphere, Chelsea in the cup at Stamford Bridge last year, everyone was standing and the atmosphere was ace. If people want to sit down there are other parts of the ground, areas should be made available for people who wish to stand and generate some sort of atmosphere.

I'm all for safe standing areas, Hillsborough was a tragedy but was more to do with poor policing and control.

Wigan away this year almost ended in tragedy, was anyone downstairs at half time??

Hillsborough alone should be reason enough to never have standing again in this country

If the introduction of safe standing areas would lower ticket prices, then it may be worth looking at.

However, the way football is at the moment, it would simply mean more money through the gates for clubs, rather than a more accessible means of following the team for a lot of fans.

The above had very little to do with standing it was down to 1.Fences ( people unable to self evacuate, which is what happends in most emergencys Fires etc ) 2.to many people in that end, 3. poor emergency control.

Well I'm glad there's a good lot of us that stand up in GT4 for Cup games, it's made such a difference.

Can't see why you'd be against standing up I really don't, any of you sitting down lot going to Anfield next Tuesday? Have fun looking at someones back.

Fences was one part to it, the other was the crush of the surge of people moving forward which equals dangerous, sorry not for me.

No. You do not need to be standing up to create an atmosphere.

This, if someone can present me with a scientific explanation that standing creates more noise than sitting i'll hold me hands up, but it doesn't

Not the point, it's against the law to stand
