Meh...saw the same arguments for Thursday Night Football in the NFL like 10 years ago.

It's not great for the match going fan, but at the end of the day it's a nationally televised featured game (or internationally with the PL).

If people didn't watch it they'd have binned it. Same goes for MNF.

The big difference is you don't get a lot of away travel in the NFL, or any American sport really. The distances are too far.

They could respect that and only schedule derbies and short trips on Friday nights, but I doubt they will.

I don't like them because they are midday on Friday in the States.

You 'should they' folks need to realize it's a business...and the customer is not just in the stands.
