No surprises for City fans. Our players are routinely ignored for personal honours and accolades.
Winning the domestic treble in the hardest league in the world is worthless now. State of that. Is it by voted by public or panel of "experts"?
Why have they all got their international team shirts on? Are they being judged on their form for their countries?

It's a shocking list really having 3 kopites and no City players but it shouldn't matter because the answer is always Messi. Stop denying this man awards because his teammates let him down. It is an individual honor and he is the best individual this year and every other except maybe a couple this last decade.

City achieved an unprecedented treble - something that had never previously been achieved in 130 years and not a single player in the list...
Bernado Silva won three domestic trophies and was voted the player of the tournament in the Nations League competition of which his team won and he doesn't get a mention. Just who is picking this list?
However, it must make Guardiola and absolute shoo in for the manager of the year: Achieving the above treble without having one single top 10 player? What a coach he must be! ;-)
To be honest, this is like water off a ducks back to us City fans now.
Let Liverpool pick up all of the meaningless personal awards whilst we hoover up all of the domestic trophies around them. As it is a public vote it is undoubted that one of their lot will win it.

Juve win the league every year, it’s nothing new. He wasn’t top scorer in the Italian league, he wasn’t even 2nd top scorer and he wasn’t influential in other tournaments that single him out.
A previous reputation has got him in here.
Jan Oblak from Atl. Madrid with 20 clean sheets from 37 games not recognized and forgotten. No player from City despite winning a domestic treble.
