By the way, to add further clarity in the context of this post, let us define "our people" as anyone who accepts the western lifestyle of our majority culture, regardless of creed, colour, religion, sexual orientation or gender - peacefully practising their own beliefs, whatever they may be, doing so because they live in a country not governed by Sharia law or any such similar oppressive, backward system.

whilst education has always had a "liberal" element to it, there seems to be a system of promoting this idea of not been able to speak out in regards to immigration/issues regarding radical Islam etc. my son who's in high school told me how the teacher in history was saying how Nazi Germany should be a warning to people who see politicians/groups blaming minorities for a countries problems during economic troubles- referring to the whole issue of the EU and the worry of more Eastern Europeans flocking in despite the shortage of jobs its a sham keep education and politics separate let the kids grow and make up their own judgements.

This is a lovely anecdote Doug, but forgive me if I fail to see how it equals some sort of unspoken agenda afflicting the entire education system.
