This is the first preseason game i've seen this year so maybe its just a preseason thing, but why did the team wear the training kits for the mls all-star game? unless thats our third kit or something, it looks exactly like the white training kit. Have the team accepted that the new kits look bad, so they made sure the crucial american market is exposed to something a little nicer looking?

anyways, the everton store doesn't offer lettering or numbering for the training kit, but if they wore it in a game shouldn't they be available commercially with numbering?

at any rate, if we can do this in a preseason game, would we be able to atleast wear the cool training kits in europe (i'm sure epl licensing wouldn't let us do it in league play) so we look a little better in front of the rest of the world

I was thinking about this myself and am sure that it must be are 3rd kit which begs the question way is are away kit black and pink and our 3rd kit white. think they have got it the wrong way round.

they said on evertontv that because the mls where in blue & black they had to adapt some training kit, hibbo had to wear a long sleeve top underneath as they were all short sleeved (aparently he was worried he might get a bit of colour when the moon came out).

We had to use that kit since our home and away kit were too similar to the kit the MLS were using.

It hasn't been 'Officially Launched' yet either, with the competition to compose a Haka which will be performed at Everton 2 in August.

I'm not joking.

the lettering on jo's jersey looked a bit off - i figured they just ironed on some patches to the training tops.

expect major complaints from the maori if thats true as it would be viewed as very disrespectful and offensive.

hibbo just wont have the same effect as buck shelford and it would be an embarrasment.
