Actually thought this thread was going to be outrageous lies you got away with telling your other halves.
Hold that thought
When they cancel the footy and we have nothing to talk about that could be a great thread
My missus never believes me when i lie
She can read me like a book
I can read her too though
When I comment on an obviously new piece of clothing its always
This old thing I have it ages ,don't really like it that's why I never wear it lol

Don’t care for women’s football.

standard just isn’t good enough, but Christ, only England could mess it up going from a Sexist, Racist in Sampson, to Neville who clearly couldn’t arrange a pissup in a brewery

nice one Fizzer!

For years now the England women's team have been spoilt and pampered too. Of course they deserve encouragement and to feel important but the current approach clearly isn't working. They need a straight-talking coach like Hope Powell again, Sampson first and now Neville have cultivated an atmosphere where the players get together and treat it like a hen do. No one gets held to task because male managers don't want to be seen as sexist bullies. 7 losses in 11 games, it's appalling considering the resources they have compared to other countries. A few of them need kicking out the squad.

While it is a bad run, they are also less than 12 months removed from losing to the best team in the world narrowly in a World Cup semi final. It isn't all bad.

I would fire Neville because I don't really see why he was qualified to take the job to begin with and I would take any opportunity to send him packing, but chastising everyone involved seems a bit over the top to me.

A lot of players have under-performed for a while, yet it seems the management team won't discard them and the media won't criticise. Compared to men's team it's night and day, look at the stick Pickford's been getting for example. With the women's team it comes across like a girl's club rather than a professional sports team for the best.

Neville got the job because he's got name recognition and looks nice in a suit, I can't think of any other reason. Even during his unveiling he was asked who the top scorer was in the women's PL and he admitted he didn't know. What an appointment.
