Not a huge fan of the album, but it is/was a seismic one.

Takes some stones for George Martins lad to even try to remaster it. Heard a bit the other day, and it sounded "cleaner", if that makes sense.

Not my favourite Beatles album, but all good tracks - even Within You Without You (like Love take on it), Beatles take it to another level as they innovate and astound.

Great that it's Giles Martin, son of George, taking on the mantle, now part of the inner circle. Will be interesting to see what he has done with it.

Amazing that 50 years on, they are still causing a stir and still generating interest and having influence.

Never been a massive fan of that album - some good tunes but She's Leaving Home and Within You Without You ruin it for me.

Revolver all the way.
some sympathy for that, but it was just too different to properly compare
Revolver was the new beatles 1.0 - Pepper was new beatles 2.0
Which doesn't make Revolver Pepper-lite, it was just differenty-er

I was walking round Manchester with mate...looking for beer and mischief, saw the queues, said what's this - new Beatles LP mate, we scrapped the 3 pound 19 and 6 together, empty your pockets I'll owe yer, honest. and bought it.
Still got it - not all the stuff that came with it though, the now valuable stuff.*shrugs
