Erm, they made some catchy songs that are decent at weddings and are pyaaar successful so they're obviously not awful, but I would never listen to them so I tried to vote cheese on toast and voted awful by mistake.

YOu know what i think Abba were brilliant.

they aren't everyones cup of tea and personally i don't sit round listening to them but their songs are really good considering they were a swedish pop group in the 70's.

Songs like the winner takes it all sound good today and although the likes of waterloo and the like sound very much like a 70's cheesy pop track 40 years later, personally i think they were fantastically talented song writers for their time (compared to everyone else at the time). They arent a gary barlow but back then who was?
