Basically, what they said was that his contract is expiring, however there is a mix up about who actually owns him or something along them lines. Balague said that he is reluctant to sign for Barca or Real Madrid or one of England's 'top 4' as he knows he will not get a game. He wants to sign for a big club were he will play. I've not seen any of him if im being honest, but he was being talked up as being a massive talent on the show. Has anyone seen much of him? Would he improve us and what is his best position?

Yesterday's 'AS' says Madrid are going to offer 4 million Euros. 2 million up front and 2 million later on with a loan back for 2 seasons as the sweetner. This way they don't have to give Deportivo any money. From what I can make out, the sell on clause is effective for money recieved over and above 2 million (profit ?) up to June 2011. As Madrid intend to pay the second instalment at the end of the loan.
