Bought a brand new sofa when I moved into my new place a few months ago, I also bought a footstool to go with it.

However..... it’s far too big for my house and Sofology won’t allow us to return it.

Anyone sold new furniture before? Don’t want to use eBay and there are too many time wasters and they hit you with silly charges.

Any serious advice appreciated.

Bournemouth away.

I recently sold a Multi York Sofa on eBay mate.

No timewasters at all and got cash off the buyer, so no costs.

Stipulate in your ad, that you're happy to take cash.

Used Shpock a few times but people will definitely try to knock you down on price. I’d reconsider eBay myself, sold loads of furniture on it over the years not to many time wasters and will have the biggest audience. Got to remember depreciation on a new sofa is even worse than a new car.

Or have a bonfire?
