we should try a diamond with Felli deep, arteta left, barkley right and cahill top...then play becks and saha upfront

am sick of seeing heitinga in midfield

The problem with that formation is the criminal lack of width.

Unless your fullbacks overlap. Baines on the left is great. Neville on the right? Not so great.
 
Some will disagree with this, but I think we should sign Wright Phillips, he is the out and out winger who we have been crying out for. He will demand a high wage, but we dont half need him.

He's beyond gash.

We do however need a pacey wide man. I'm just not sure that man is SWP.

Yeah hes not great... however we dont have much choice, we dont have any money and he is probably available for around 2.5 million which should be just about manageable. I cant think of any other available wingers who we can get. Juan Mata isnt exactly in our price range.
 
I'd not be to upset with wright phillips coming in. Beggers can't be chooser's and he'd be a cheap pacy RW which we need.

Wages may be a prob tho

Unfortunately Cahill can't and has never been able to tackle, so don't think playing him in centre midfield would work.

At best he should be on the bench because he is totally dictating the way Everton play football.

Bring him on with 20 minutes to go when the centre halves are tired.
 

wit the situation wit the banks i dont think anyone of us can really say where the money will go if we sold a player ...... i dont think they would let us keep it all so if we sold someone for £15m we may only be able to get someone for £2m....depressing i know

but i will say if and only if we get offered top dollar for a player id say let them go for its the world of football we live in right now

unfortunately i think that our problem right now we dont even have that amount or similar to offer anyone or im sure we wouls have seen a DM deal brought in during the summer
