Player Valuation: £750k
In my opinion sell yak Billy osman beckford mucha rodwell Neville Cahill that should raise £30 mill give the bank £10 mill that gives David £20mill I won't miss any of those players at all !! Some will say fizzer a leader but he can't cross a ball Cahill looks finished osman to weak rodwell just not gunna make the grade WE ARE EVERTON we shouldn't accept this poor standard of football

Problem with that is that you're not going to replace eight players with eight better quality players for the money you'd get. We need to have some depth when the inevitable injury bug hits.

I'm for selling Yobo and actually starting to entertain the idea of selling Jags if we get top dollar for him.

I still want to see Yak play for us as, in my opinion, I think he can contribute.

Just 3 £7 mill ( so moyes needs an extra £1 mill ) players and a few freebies only fizzer Cahill get 100% starts for some reason !!

Rather than bleeding to death in a slow spiral to the Championship, I'm starting to think that the team should bite the bullet & start putting our faith in youth. Build the team around Barkley & Rodwell because I reckon Rodders, played in position and given the added responsibility, would relish the challenge.

The older players can be sold off as required. Mercinary? Sure, but we need some form of affirmative action IMHO. If we can't buy the players we need, then we have to turn to youth.

To sell those players you need a buyer.

You need buyers for these players mate, it aint so black and what. From that list I think you'd struggle to find buyers for Billy, Mucha and Neville. Beckford, Mucha and Cahill - you'd get £5-£6m top for the three of them, Osman £6-7m and Rodwell (who's stock in continually falling) maybe £10m.

A £20-£22m fire sale with a mass of holes in an already tiny squad and a transfer market that's off its head...nah...

the world and his dog knows were skint nobody with a brain would pay top dollar for any of our players imo they would just sit a nd wait until we had no choice but to sell witch by all accounts is going to be sooner rarther than later for all we know thats what they could be doing now ....eg jags-aresnal.......baines- well any one really hes the best left back in england you get the picture

This , but unfortunatly too many players no they have no chance of being dropped so complacency sets in. We have talented young players, but will they get the chance is debatable.

Sell Cahill??? r u mad??!!! think you've forgotten how many points he got us last season and previous ones, besides which the bloke is one of the few that actually plays for the shirt, hes a legend in my eyes. I think in some ways yesterdays result was reality check we need to kick r asses into gear, roll on next weekend.

Don't get me wrong, I rate Cahill, and you could see him start to lift yesterday, but someone on the field as passionate as him would also be gutted if he realised that he may be holding the team back. As stated many times by others, the team played better when he was away & Moyes was forced to restructure the side.

Again, you can't buy passionate players like Cahill & Dunc quite as easily as it seemed a few years ago, but I want to remember them for their glory days & not a season where they played half crocked before retiring mid season.

In the current market we'd struggle to sell any of our players for decent prices. Our best younger players aren't of interest to the wealthier clubs and no one wants to pay decent money for players approaching 30. Lots of clubs are struggling to get rid of players, so there is no reason to suggest we'd be any different. People say the market is inflated at the moment, but unless you are selling to PSG, Barca, Real Utd, red ****e, Chelsea or City, it's not. Most other clubs don't have much to spend and are looking to sell players.

We're probably not going to sell anyone or buy anyone. There are obviously going to be disadvantages and advantages in that scenario. Hopefully Moyes can get the players focused on matters on the pitch, starting by beating Sheff Utd and then by going to Blackburn and scoring some goals.

How many points he got us?

You're ignoring that without him we did far better.

I love Cahill, but yesterday highlighted how crap we are playing a 4-4-1-1 with him being the focal point of our attack. If we had pacey widemen or even someone competent on the right flank it might be different, but we don't.

Cahill is a limited player who we can't get the best out of anymore because we don't have the right players in our team. We're not going to sign them, either, so we need to be looking at formations that work for the players we have.

RFUS, it's Moyes to blame though not Cahill. Moyes has created this situation and it's a situation we've had for a number of years now! Cahill should be played in midfield, and allowed to push on past the striker(s) like he used to at quality times, like when he first joined. He would inject some steel into CM and would be the perfect partner for Barkley right now. We should play Cahill in CM in a 3 or not at all. Not in this 'please score a goal any way you can' position Moyes persists with. It's so scrappy and random. Cahill can pass the ball simply, and is very decent in out and out CM. I remember him playing with Osman and Arteta in there away to Villa quite a few seasons back, and we destroyed them with some quality football. It's Moyes to blame entirely. We have no shape.

I've been saying that for months mate.

Cahill does what is asked of him. Moyes is the manager; the buck stops with him.
