SELL RODWELL IF WE GOT A 20M OFFER

if it went to the debt it would eventually go to the team

its awful but we have to pay it off at some point, and i think with a 20 mil sale moyes would see at least half of it, especially since we haven't spent much recently
 

If an offer like that came in we'd have to sell and use it to pay off debt.

I would be happy if it did happen. Selling someone like Rodwell who is a good player but not great atm is a far more attractive option than being forced to sell Barkely sooner than we need to, down the line, once he's broken in to the starting lineup.

Rodwell is good but not indispensible and I think our team could still survive without him, it'd clear alot of the debt and save money on wages.
 
If it was a choice between Rodwell and Barkley, then I would sell Rodwell. Barkley has far more to his game than Rodwell will ever have. I would however prefer to keep them both.

But if Rodwell goes and Moyes gets half (£10 m.) who would you guys bring in to replace him?
 

Of course some of the money will be given to Moyes. He got about £18m from the Lescott deal. Granted our debts may not have been as bad but thanks to this summer they can't be that much worse. It would save us a considerable amount in interest payments and he's not worth £20m anyway. We have to sell him if that kind of offer comes in.
 
I'd never sell Rodwell for that sort of money. Granted he's not even worth it, but it would make me physically sick if we sold him for 20 mil.
