Self Loathing

Is it self loathing to suspect we're going to sign some right ****e this transfer window?

If it is, where does it come from?

It can't be from God, because In order for life to have appeared spontaneously on earth, there first had to be hundreds of millions of protein molecules of the ninth configuration. But given the size of the planet Earth, do you know how long it would have taken for just one of these protein molecules to appear entirely by chance? Roughly ten to the two hundred and forty-third power billions of years. And I find that far, far more fantastic than simply believing in God.

A better debate is to ask whether signing shite is an improvement on signing no one at all.

This is the real existential question Evertonians have to contemplate.

Would it be better to sign ****e over utter dross is the question we need to square up to the mirror with? or perhaps to sign ****e on opposite day where in some existential verse they become the top quality within the market or I Bill Kenwright even a real person?....hmmmm

Fact : we've got no money to play around with. Fact : unless we get a big windfall (eg by selling players), Moyes will be hunting in the bargain basement. Does this mean that we'll end up "signing some right ****e" ? Well it's a possibility, but I've got more faith in Moyes and his team of scouts than that. Saha, Beckford, Coleman, Cahill, Gueye ... you're never going to strike gold 100% of the time, but we've found a few gems before in the bargain basement and I'm confident that we can do it again.

You can't polish a turd but sometimes when you scratch the surface you find hidden gems.
Mind you sometimes you get ****e in your fingernails.

You can't polish a turd.

But you can roll it in glitter.

Is anyone else still currently experiencing self loathing caused by the absence of EFC transfer activity?

If so, drop that last tab, we're going to finish 5th.

I love this land.
