Player Valuation: Free Transfer
My girlfriend and I are major supporters of the Toffees here in Seattle (Seattle Evertonians) and are flying to Liverpool to watch the Spurs fall to the mighty Toffees. I have been trying to figure out the best seats for us to purchase and how to purchase tickets. My big concern is that this match is a big one and our seating selection will be limited. I am staying up until 12:00 on the 15th to purchase online.
So a couple questions:
1. Is the evertonfc.com site the best place to purchase tickets? Will it sell out?
2. Where is the best place to "sit"? We do not like sitting for matches. I like center pitch and being close. Is the family section a good place? We dont mind swearing and neither care about drinking at the match.
3. Is there a pre-game gathering of any type?

thanks all

Hi mate,

Yes the eTicketing on the Official Site is probably the best place to buy tickets, as you can choose your seat.

The best view is probably the Park End where there are no obstructed views, but atmosphere wise and if you want to stand up a bit, then the Lower Gwladys is what you want.

Pre match gatherings are usually in the pubs surrounding the stadium. There's quite a few within a stones throw of Goodison Park.

Good luck mate, hope we win for ya.

Are you part of the Seattle Evertonians' Facebook group? If not you should be! We post where a group of us are watching each match.

Cheers!

yeah sara I am part of the group. i just haven't made too many gatherings because i watch the matches in the morning when they are broadcasted. but i will represent the small but mighty Seattle Evertonians.

Unfortunately there's bit of a trade off between atmosphere and view, to sit centre pitch you are looking at Main Stand, Top Balcony, Paddock and Upper Bullens. If you want to be close to the pitch then Paddock or as you say Family Enclosure (you need a Jr. with you). Lower Gwladys will give you the atmosphere but not the best view. Just Beware of anything that says "Restricted View" you don't want to come all this way and stare at a post all day.
Some of the corporate packages are probably well worth it when coming from afar, they are probably cheap as well when compared with some U.S. sports.

Everton v SpursEnjoy hospitality at Goodison for the visit of high-flying Spurs. With a range of lounges and packages, which start at just £80+VAT, there is a hospitality option to suit every budget at this mouth-watering encounter. To book this 5.30pm fixture on Saturday 10 March, click here.
