Hi, I have just bought tickets to take my 6 year old son to his first Everton game, and the seats are in lower bullens 5. But after buying these I've read a few things about these seats been a really bad view, I was told seats were restricted view but that it was only part of goal blocked and also if ball went high up we wouldn't see it. Can anyone clarify this who has maybe been in this area, panicking now that my son is gonna be disappointed

Many thanks

Gary

Been in countless restricted views, none of them are that bad at all bar the very very back of the lower Gwladys.

And for a kid, it's all about the atmosphere and the feeling of walking out into the stadium for the first time. He won't lose out on that regardless where you sit.

Oh that's good to hear, thanks for the reply, yes I'm sure just going to the ground itself will leave him buzzing, so hopefully nothing else will spoil that for him, thanks again

If your only 5 rows back mate it will be fine, further back in the lower bullens is the worst. I tend to get back row seats as I find it better for my son who can then stand up. Best view I've ever got for me and my son was front row upper bullens by the street end, cracking view!

Like others have said, it's more to do with the atmosphere than the view so your little lad will love it ;)

Thanks mate, row O doesn't look too far back if I've looked right so fingers crossed will be ok

It depends really. I sit in the LB in row O right next the away fans. 3 posts in the road but they arent in the way of anything important. If your close to the front and directly behind a wide post you wont be able to see a large chunk of the pitch

What seat numbers are roughly near away fans mate? What do they go up to?

Had an awful view once in the lower bullens. Its a bit like the photo above, I had to keep leaning each way depending on where the ball was on the pitch. Thankfully a steward allowed me sit in a better, empty seat after about 10 minutes, as long as I moved back if the person turned up.

You have all the lower bullens and paddock seats to chose from. There will be some empty ones even if the game is officially sold out.

Also, it has to be said that there are some great seats in the lower bullens. Anything in the first couple of rows which are between the posts are some of the best in the ground I think. You can really feel the history around you!

I think that picture is of Loftus road certainly doesnt look like Goodison.

I was sat in the Lower Bullens for my first ever game against Barnsley back in '98. I absolutely loved the whole day from the smell of the pies to the green of the pitch and the wooden seats it was a special day that i still treasure to this day. We even won 4-2 to top the day off.

I'm sure your lad will love the whole experience.
