Hi all
Can anyone explain why we cant find out how many are on the season ticket waiting list and what position we are in the list. I've got a membership for me and my son to boost us up. I think it's a scam by the club to keep people buying the membership with no hope of getting a season ticket for many years.

There were 31500 season ticket holders of which 97% renewed which basically means 945 coming off the list. I am sure I saw somewhere that there were 17500 on the waiting list .
Obviously the new ground will be bigger with maybe another 10,000 season ticket holders but it still means a long wait. Not all people on the list will actually want a ticket when its available but anybody buying now will surely have at least a 5 year wait

There is zero chance they'll release an additional 10'000 season tickets.

2 or 3 thousand at the most. They'll want as many peoe as possible paying full price for a seat.

True enough , I suppose it depends on what they charge for the season tickets . Man city have about 36000 season tickets which would be in line with what you were saying.
City seem to have a scheme with Silver and Gold tickets , Silver tickets are for 14 matches which dont include the so called big six,the gold tickets are for all 19 games.

Thanks for the information. I'm actually waiting for a disabled season ticket for my son. Hopefully they will have more disabled seats available.

I saw this mentioned somewhere.... I forget what the number of bays was but it was a lot more than at Goodison with much more variety regarding locations around the stadium.

How many games do you go to a season? The bloke who deals with the ticket office at the supporters club I'm with has told us that the more games you go to the higher on the list you go. Now I don't know if that is a mixture of time and games, so it may be they define a period and the ones that go to a lot of games but could have joined later in that time frame can get one before people who joined earlier...however there must be a point where if you've been on the list for years but don't go to many games where that then receives a higher weighting else some would never get a ST.

It's a disability seat I'm after for my son. I would say I managed most of the home games. But once all the availability seats have gone were screwed.

I'd email the club specifically about it. Due to the limited number of accessible seats available, they may be able to do something about it - more so as he's a child.

It's worth a try.

I just read your recent post and I suppose the special requirement does change things. It might work either way for you though, due to the limited nature of seats it could take a while for one to come up. But at the same time if they do free up then you'd hope you would have less people going for one than the numerous other thousands.

Good luck, hope you get one for you and your son next season.
