Because in case you haven't noticed there is general economic crisis going on around you with not many jobs.

Most Evertonians I know live in the world mate, last time I checked.

I'd say that things are pretty dire even compared to a year ago, yes. Like all the civil service cuts etc.

I try to get to as many games I can home and Away. but you are looking at £100 + every time..and currently it is a struggle. So people in my situation can only pick and choose.

Because in simple terms, money is tight, so people can not afford to pay for season ticket's. Example being in my scenario i had 2 jobs and now only have 1 job due to cut back's made by the local government hence i can't afford me season ticket this year. Simples.
