Hi everyone.

After many years of attending odd matches all over the ground (mostly with restricted views!) I wanted to take the plunge and get 4 season tickets for the kids and I so we get a decent view and a consistent seat.

But there's really not much choice on offer. We prefer to sit on the sides somewhere in the middle. There's nothing really in the Main Stand or Upper Bullens, which would be a preference.

There's a good selection in the Lower Bullens (LB3, towards the back) but having not sat there I'm put off by reports of the letterbox view and committing to that over the season.

Before everyone says that I should pop over and take a look around - not that easy as I live in Dubai!

Perhaps I should wait until the priority for season ticket holders ends with some not renewing (might be a few after the home performances this season) ?

Cheers.

Welcome to GrandOldTeam.

I'm doing this, even if it means missing the early bird discount.

Moved away from Liverpool so couldn't get to every game. We increased our season ticket allocation which has meant picking up tickets was proving more and more tedious - ending up with seats like this more often than not! http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/everton-supporters-reveal-shocking-obstructed-4199695

Wanted to pickup 4 season tickets again this season, thinking I'll just giveaway the games I can't make. Had a look when they went on general, didn't bother for the same reason you've said.

Going to hold off and hope some better come available, if not, I'll just have to keep picking them up game to game.

you can take advantage of the early bird offer (adults saving over £100) and apply to transfer the seat after the 'keep your seat deadline' obviously there'd be a queue of folk & it may be a case of 1st in best dressed.

Obviously Danny you can put in the letter that you'll rake them over the coals on here & twitter etc if you dont get a move.

I imagine that getting 4 together will limit the availability, especially with boss views as well.

For the op though the family enclosure is an option ? *you get wet near the church.

Haha, GrandOldTeam affiliation is a hindrance and more likely to go against me than in favour...

From memory, last season the early bird discount deadline was after the season ticket renewal deadline. One or two people were moaning that they couldn't pay for their season ticket until the end of the early bird period, but by then the season ticket renewal deadline would have passed so they would lose their seat.

Better seats get released after the renewal deadline passes - there'll always be a few people who won't renew for whatever reason. Getting 4 together will be tricky

My advice?

Buy your season tickets ASAP.

Then write to the club (like I have) and request to move seats. They'll contact you after 2nd May!

I'd say personally to wait until after the early bird period because based on past seasons there have been loads of seats become available after that period. Bit like cup games when season ticket holders seats are released and there's loads available. Get in early the day after the early bird finishes and you'll be fine

I'm not sure that's right. From the website;

The Early Bird window for Season Ticket sales is now open and will remain open until midnight on Wednesday, 25 May. The Guarantee Your Seat Deadline for existing Season Ticket holders will be Tuesday, 3 May.

So the seats that have not been renewed will come available sometime after the 3rd May. This means season tickets can then be bought by supporters before the Early Bird deadline of 25th May. Waiting till after the Early Bird finishes means paying full whack

Edit - as others have said, people can buy a season ticket now and then look to swap seats after the 3rd May when the seats that haven't been renewed will be made available

Anyone know if you want to move your seat when can you go and have a look at actual seats? I mean go in the ground and see the seat for yourself, if there is a steward by the ticket office if you ask will they take you in for a few minutes?

Just go to the box office and say you want to renew your ticket, they will ask you where you want to sit and write down the seats that are available in that area for you. A steward will then take you round the ground to your seat so you can see what it's like. That's what I did a few weeks ago like.

Wait until after the renewal deadline has passed, and then all of the non renewed ST seats will become available. If you're quick you might be able to secure a decent seat.

Be surprised if they allow you in at all with the twitter polls you keep doing, I've been told that whatever seat you get Roberto has a welder with a girder ready to install it so that it'll be between your knees.

You'll get a £1 off each game like.
