Apologies I didn't see a thread on this so I thought I would start one.

Despite all the problems we have had this season and I fairly happy with how the season finished. If we hadn't been deducted points we would have been close to a top 10 finish. Which i think we can all agree we would have been happy with at the start of the season.

It's going to be a big summer for sure. Takeover.. player sales..players inc (hopefully!) I think Dyche has has a good season all things considered.

One last season at Goodison. Let's make it a good one!

COYB!

the no win streak in winter was totally unacceptable

a few decent runs, a derby win and the teams below us being historically crap gloss over it

We have solid foundations, just need to sort out the scoring issue and we can push onwards and upwards

Under Koeman and Silva we started to improve towards the end of the season only for to come back after the summer and look a complete shambles. If we can hold on to Branthwaite and sort out how to score more regular we could make a steady start and improve again as the season goes on. But I expect we`ll sell him and be poor in front of goal from the start and have another hard season to endure.

Miles better than I expected given how August went.

I said back then I wanted a Palace type 45 points and 14th place season with little relegation worry and despite a really poor run the manager and squad delivered on that.

Need to enjoy this season as I think next year is going to be more like 22/23 with a real backs to the wall feel for majority of games. Hopefully the feel of the final year at Goodison can inspire the team a bit more as really need to be starting next season at home as strongly as finishing this one. That would help as I don't think for one second the three promoted teams will be as bad as this season's lot, two of them will have a good chance of staying up.

Considering last season and what we had to navigate I'd argue it's a bit more then a meh season.
It wasn't very exciting in the end though. That's not a criticism, it's just ended up being a bit of a nothing season, which is success in itself these days. However, it won't sit in the memory bank for long.

Well, on a personal level, it will for me.

My Grandsons face after that Derby win will stay with me for eternity.
