Player Valuation: £500k
After one of the most bizarre derby day selections since Glen Keely being given his debut, then if it goes tits up on Saturday then our whole season is in ruins, and the ramifications will go on,having today received my season ticket application/re-newal I wonder what the uptake will be, a lot less than if we reach semi or final at wembley so last nights selection could have longer lasting implications through less season ticket sales a main source of income, and one banks will look very carefully at, because we owe season ticket moneies in long term loans

one things for sure he has to play Johnny from now on, jags has to earn his place. also neville has to play right back, but hibbo wasnt bad last night..

the thing is johnny would have given carrol and the likes a hard time..

oh i am new here because they chucked me off blue kipper :)

The result itself doesn't make a huge difference. Liverpool are unbeaten at Anfield all season, they were favourites to win anyway. We're still on course for a respectable league position.

What hurts is this : we didn't lose because of the team selection. We lost because we lacked an ability to turn up a gear, to produce that extra quality in the areas that really count. Watching the game it was hard not to feel that the gap between us and the top 6 is more than just 5 points, we've got a long way to go. So what if we beat Sunderland ? Yes we get a trip to Wembley, but to win the cup we'd probably have to beat two of the top 6. And something tells me that Spurs and Chelsea won't roll over so easily a second time ... So you see, the derby game's drained some of my hope and belief. How will it have affected the players ?
