Season 14/15 as school grade

Whereas last season was either a solid C+ or an excellent B- probably depends on your age (with the older lot giving it a C, remembering the 80's)

Just like this season's grade may differ among yous, except this time the older of us may be marking it higher (remembering the 90's) than you whippersnappers. Some of you may mark us a grade higher depending on how terrible the RS were...weirdos.

It's an E from me. Would've been a D, just outside the pass-marks, had our football been mostly decent. Alas, at times we were so boring I was barely arsed. Tho' Europe was good for a wee while. And Rom is scoring (sort of).


Here for our Outlanders the grading system:

A-C = a pass, success, with A being Amazing and C just scraping it.
D-E = neither pass, nor fail...a bit meh.
F-G = FAIL
N = Not Arsed (aka cheesy toastie)
U = only reserved for relegation but some of yous may have ultra-high standards

when i were at school D & E were like limbo grades: you were put in last-minute filtering if there weren't enough C's from other lids & lidettes for a place at college. Sort of like a second-chance grade (Bobby deserves another season).

Marking last season as a C makes no sense to me, it was about the best we could have achieved with the squad and finances we have. If you're not going to take into account the context with stuff like that then this all seems a bit pointless.

I'd agree for A Level, but anything below a C at GCSE is a fail. You wouldn't put it on your CV.
