An improvement in Coleman's delivery was very noticeable against Bolton yesterday who put in a few peaches, notably one that Cahill should of buried in the second half and Saha should of done much better on the follow up.

Definitely.

He also did well cutting in and shooting with his left, perhaps needs to work on his left footed attempts though.

Seamus needs to perfect the final ball into the danger area, too many times for me he loses the ball needlessly or runs out of pitch. But hugh credit to the lad to turn in the performances he has after that horrible injury. I think the lads got tons of ability.

Not so sure about the right back position,,, he puts years on me everytime he makes a tackle in our own box FFS!!!

Want to see him at RB, but yesterday, he looked back to himself. Thank goodness. Probably finally shook off the injury blues.

His crosses yesterday were spot on. He put most of them in the exact right spot. He was running at defenders and jinking around them, good stuff.

Agree with some others around here that his finishing needs work. When he gets into the box it's like he panics and his brain departs. But to me that's a sign of youth and inexperience. Hopefully it'll come.

I wish we could get another option at RM to at least TRY him at RB.

But overall, glad he's back to his usual goods.

Every few months Coleman learns a new attacking trick, It's really interesting to see how clearly he's improving with experience. I think if he carries on improving at this rate for a year or two he'll be an excellent right-sided player

He is too direct at times... Relying on pace to outwit defenders. Some of his kick and run tricks looks so 80s. He need to learn a lot more feint, shoulder dropping one side but going the other side, needs to practice on dribbling too... It's not impossible to learn tricks and dribbling. The hardest part is vision and a good footballing brains. If Theo Walcott can do it I don't see why he cannot..

The way he ran out of ideas at the end of last season and the start of this one, I thought Coleman was actually an average one-trick wonder who got found out by the defenders in our division, but in the last month I've thought he's shown signs that he's developing and getting better with experience, i.e. improving his crossing, picking passes out better, improving on his left foot and learning to kill the ball when space closes up. Still undecided on whether he'll be a right-back or right-midfielder long term, but very sure that he'll be a top right-sided player for many years to come.

I rate him! as has been said he is willing to run at defenders and get to the bye line! W haven't had this in many players over the last few years! I hope he can progress and get even better! i would like to see him be able to play the full back role in the end as he seems to have all the attrbutes just need to get a little batter defensivly!

He's really improved the last few games, obviously he's tried cutting inside from the right in training and shooting with his left foot, as he didn't do that previously. I got the impression when he played last season that he just ran at people and made it up as he went along, whereas now I feel he actually has half a plan. Its good to see him improve, cos his pace does just naturally beat people, if he learns to shoot with his left and carries on delivering good crosses there's no reason he can't be our right mid.

He's like an upgraded Gareth Bale. They even look kind of the same!

I think it is noticeable though that his running out of ideas and getting 'found out' has more to do with fatigue than anything else. He played mostly every game last year and has a really draining playing style. This year he struggled with the injury which meant he lost a bit of the build up..
