how do you all think hes been doing since his injury comeback? took him a couple of weeks to start completing 90 minutes but seems to have done so every game since the Chelsea LC game. has come right back into form!!

still a crowd favourite?

His workrate and attitude is first rate and its been far too long since we had someone to run at defenders. He's certainly not out of place at the top level and it will be interesting to see how he develops as a player and which position will he best suit.

its hard coming back from an injury like he had, was out for a good 6 weeks or so wasnt he so was bound to take a few games to get back to his best, which i think he has done since coming on v chelsea

He's at his best when given time and space to run at defenders. Is like a breath of fresh air for us when he does so.

But as much as i like him i just don't think he's good enough to play right wing regularly for us. Of course he's probably our best option there at the moment but he's too inconsistent and that position still needs to be upgraded.

Im not criticising Seamie, considering where he came from and what he costs he is doing very well. But is not the future of right wing for us.

Right back yeah maybe, would like to see more of him there, hopefully he can dispell the myth that he can't defend and is somehow miles worse than our other options there.

I believe defensive duties can be taught, whereas going forward and distribution, well you've either got it or you haven't

Agreed, if he learns to tackle and track runners (not saying he can't do that already to a degree, never really seen him have to), then we'll have a top class fullbacks on our hands. Coleman and Baines would be incredible assets.
