Scouse Recipe

Mum made some scouse for me when I was home for chrimbo, came back from the match to a beasty bowl of it with tiger bread and a cup of tea in my GOT mug... Ta mum
 


Pretty much as on the link, but for extra taste add 2 slices neck end of lamb, which when it's all cooked you pull out all the teeth breaking bones and any undissolved gristly fatty stuff ( if it aint rendered down in 8 hrs it aont gonna )

Plenty of seasoning especially pepper to your taste.

Even better if you can wait until the next day as it always seemed to taste better on day 2

Mrs Degsy's is good, she was taught by the mammy, her's was better, she was taught by Gran ( born 1901 so knew the real deal )
Whisper it lowly, but hers was the best.

Day 3; Cold Scouse on white bread and butter.
