I have garlic in mine, always like adding something for variation.

Chop onion, carrots and spuds, pop into a large pan with some diced beef, and cook, all together, until done. Add oxo and pepper as required.

This basically .... But add the spuds later or they will go to mushy and disappear.



Oh, and add swede too.

They do a 'Catalan Scouse' with morcilla and chorizo that is so fot that I cry thinking about eating it.

Precisely - although a dash of guinness/porter is a great addition to the mixture

Half lamb half beef 2 carrots chopped up, spuds in early to disintegrate loads of oxos. Serve with red cabbage never beet root
