absolutely not. seriouslyWhy do I detect a hint of condescension?
Back in the 90's I had the misfortune to meet a few people from Rhyl. They had a distinctive scouse twang.Very pleased for you, I’m lucky enough to have grown up here and still live here.
It’s reasonably well documented.

So yeah, also you could listen to some people from parts of North Wales, our very own Neville Southall for example, who sound almost scouse.
Yes, you are being pedantic.
I lived my early years in Pendlebury - which is nowadays incorporated into Salford - before my family moved to Salford where I went to both junior and grammar school.
Will that do you ?
You're right mate, both Swinton and Pendlebury had their own identity back in the day.Absolutely, thanks for that, always good to get the full story.
Must admit, I didn't know Pendlebury was part of Salford. When I was a lad ( long time ago admittedly ) Pendlebury and Swinton kind of went hand in hand ( I know Swinton and Walkden reasonably well, Pendlebury less so ), and never thought of them as being part of Salford. Weird how stuff changes as some things become more fashionable.
