Scouse accent and local identity

Hi there Blues, I´m currently doing my final year dissertation at uni on Scouse accent and the local identity of people. The main aim of the research is to explore the attitudes of Scousers to the city of Liverpool and their sense of local identity. I´m looking for a few people who have an accent associated with the Liverpool area and who wouldn´t mind to do a short interview basically on what it means for you to be a Scouser. It’s a mix of accents.

Lancashire, Welsh, with some Irish and an little bit of Scots and Cheshire thrown in.

The biggest influence is Welsh.

And to be scouse is an incredible part of my identity.

There you go that should get you a pass mark.
