School dinners: old style Vs new style; discuss.

I might enter the school dinners for rich kids business.

Would make a bomb serving up stuff like pad thai on a bed of rocket lettuce, or sushi with real wasabi sauce.

Unfortunately the processes rubbish was removed from my school just before I left. Still no Jamie Oliver dinners though.

I used to hate school dinners. Thick mash potato everyday served with an ice cream scoop. You weren't allowed to leave the table until you had finished. My Mum used to batter me for coming home with vegetables in my pockets everyday. Packed lunch was the way ahead.

Although looking at that school dinner menu there, I think I'd have happily cleared my plate.

Used to work in a high school in Spain and you could get a 3 course meal with wine at lunch. So boss.

Deffo a 20k a year gig though for the school, imo.
