Scheduled Downtime

Saturday February 22nd at 9:00 P.M. (Central Time) we are going to do some infrastructure upgrades that will require around 1 hour of downtime. A couple weeks ago we had problems with one of our UPS's that required us to move servers over to straight building power. Since then we have had the UPS worked on and stress tested for over a week without problems. Our plan is during this down time to move customers back over on the main UPS. We have also purchased enough remote reboot strips that we are going to re-wire the current servers to be hooked into a remotely controlled power reboot port as well. We apologize for the inconvenience and assure you that this is an upgrade to our service. If you would like to shut your own server off please make sure it is completely powered down by 9:00 P.M. (Central Time). If the server is not shut down by this time we will push the button on the front so it can properly shut down itself. We have arranged to have plenty of staff members on site to help make sure each server powers back on correctly.

So dont be cursing me on the 22nd, I'll be having none of this "oh ffs, Dannys messing about with the forums again...."
