Scamming

I occasionally get emails off "Amazon" saying something completely random is due to be delivered on such a date. The first was a Deer antler chandelier for £400. At the bottom of the email it just says "If you have not ordered you can contact our help desk here"
It was obvious to me that it was a scam mainly because it wasn't the email I'm registered with on Amazon, but someone else my have fallen for it, it was convincingly laid out apart from the email address being weird

I'd read that in a paper however long ago, they say they are from your bank and when you put the phone down and call to confirm the previous caller hands the phone to a 'Colleague ' who runs through security checks to rinse all the info off people. Some right shoitehawks about.

aka RS.

There's one going round pretending to be from the DVLA. Got a txt saying they owed us some money for road tax but the car was new and I thought it was strange.
Called the DVLA and they said its a scam, apparently the txt takes you to a link and they get into your account, if you complete the form.
