Scam calls from Asia claiming to be BT re internet...

Two today so far.

First one peed me off, so I replied in German:
Them: Good-day Sir, how are you?
Me: Es geht mir seht gut. Wie geht es Ihnen?
Click!

Second one (a couple of minutes ago):
Good afternoon Sir, I'm calling from BT Open Reach about your internet connection.
Me: Sprechen Sie langsam, bitte, dann kan ich verstehen.
Click.

My wife nearly wet herself laughing each time.

But serriously, these are absolute vermin, trying to prey on the unsuspecting and nervous among the population...

I get 4-5 of these a day.
It's the only conversation I get, my record is 24 minutes

I usually tell them I'm in the middle of a wank then put them on hold. If they don't hang up within 30 seconds, asking them for a little dirty talk does the trick.

I had a very lengthy conversation with a nice chap about viruses and all that sort of thing, he explained to me how dangerous they were which was very helpful.
I said I'd heard you can get them from looking at porn on the internet - he said that was definitely the case.
I asked if he thought I should stop looking at lots of porn then?
He was a bit taken aback but suggested that maybe I should.
I said to be honest, if I'm not looking at porn on it, I haven't got much use for the computer really, but thanked him for his concern.

BT have a policy of not employing Asians. They then pay Asians to pretend to work for them and call people, so they don't appear rascist

In a word, yes. You can see it all on youtube vids. They manipulate you so that you give them control of your computer. Then they go into your financial matters, get your bank account details, and empty your account.
