Sort it out. The train is just one means of transport. Really weird for me to think fan compo is in order. Small time thinking for me thinking fans are owed some sort of compo for choosing to support a club and choosing to attend away games that are inconvenient.

Your club has an opportunity to be exposed to the world without any competition. The match goers get to show the world how boss they are in full voice.

We're already seeing the effect that TV is having on match attendances. I was watching United vs Newcastle and there were plenty of empty seats in evidence and United are arguably our nations biggest club, then you see City who are playing the best stuff our league has seen since the Arsenal invincibles, and there are plenty of empty seats on show. You drop down the league to our more average clubs and there are tons of empty seats. The atmosphere in the Premier League is often cited as it's biggest selling point to overseas viewers, well the atmosphere is becoming more and more stale, partly because games are being attended less. It's gotten to the point where most (if not all) clubs are now giving their attendances by tickets sold rather than actual bums on seats.

Unless the league is careful then one of its main draws will become kaputt.

Absolutely fabulous opportunity to spend from 12:30 until 10pm in certain pubs watching live premier league footy on a Saturday. Yay for pub dwelling fans who don't go the game.
