Fish finger butties are class. But for me you have to fry the fish fingers, and then the sandwich has to be thick white bread and real butter.

Best thing is making your own tartare sauce, cause the stuff you get in the shops is utter ming. Only takes seconds while the fish fingers are cooking.

Gherkin, silverskin onions or a shallot, capers, parsley, lemon juice mayo and salt & pepper, whack it all in the blender.

Well worth the aggro.
