Was on tv before and a good interview with him saying how he enjoyed England etc, he said he felt let down by Liverpool and once he signed for Everton he felt like he was at home, he said he was amazed how well the fans took to him, he stated his time at Everton was the best moment of his career as just the whole club brought new life to him, also said the Everton fans are special and he holds them close to his heart.

Dont forget this was on a tv programme, nothing to do with Everton so he didn't have say any of that, fair play to him (y)

I was always behind the Westerveld signing and tbh, disappointed it wasn't made full term. Good keeper.

I saw that same interview and was impressed by him. Too bad it didn't work out for him as long over in England as it should have.

he said more or less the same, that he knew he made horrible mistakes at Liverpool but he said he felt let down that straight away they opened the exit door and didnt give him another chance or something like that.

I watched it too and thought what a wonderful compliment to Everton FC and the supporters. Nice guy.
