Anzhi sounds like a strange club. It's being used to regenerate a region, but it's a bit of a dive so guys like Eto'o live and train in Moscow and travel 100's of miles for the 'home' games.
As for Asharvin, real shame as he was fantastic at the Euros and in his first year at Arsenal. Baffling how it's all gone wrong for him. Really good player.
Don't they like Brazilian dancing?
Arshavins downfall was believing his own hype. At Zenit he was boss. He went to Arsenal, scored a few goals, thought he was boss and started smiling to the cameras and lost his focus.
Then he wasn't as boss anymore.
Wenger also deployed him on the wing and he is so not a winger. Would have liked Arshavin here, he's the kind of player that thrives under Moyes. A talented guy who for one reason or another didn't cut it at his club.
