Does anyone know what is happening with our number 40? He was named in our 25 man squad at the beginning of the season (ahead of Garbutt) and given a new contract.

He doesn't seem to get in the 16 for the under 23's. Is he injured again or just rubbish?

Seems to be a theme for a club with a theatre impresario on the board.

I thought he was largely signed to fill a spot in the youth team as other strikers had been loaned out. Can't imagine he was ever really thought of as a first team possibility.

I think we gave him a year extension to June 18 to allow him a chance to prove himself after his injury. Bizzarre that he should have been given a squad number instead of Garbutt as he’s been nowhere near the first team. I lose track of these Irish lads, there’s also Steven Kinsella who we loaned to Irish club Dundalk last year, haven’t heard much of him lately.
