Agreed completely. Lambert living on borrowed time, he's turned Villa into a shambles.

Villa is an interesting one.

At first Lerner was happy to provide MON with funds whenever required, then when Lerner tightened the belt MON resigned. Lambert is operating under what is the tightest of budgets.

Lol.

Bigger than our budget, like.

IMO the person most to blame for Villa's predicament is MON. He failed with an expensively assembled squad - remember 2009 when Villa were 8 points clear of Arsenal at the end of February? Leading Stoke 2-0 at Villa Park and then they collapsed late on to draw 2-2. Downhill from then on.

Asked to respond to Allardyce’s assertion, made after West Ham’s 2-1 victory over City last month, that their £32m centre-back Eliaquim Mangala is being left exposed by his team-mates, Pellegrini said: “When you are a manager and win you have all the solutions. The same manager, we last year scored 14 goals [against in four games] and he didn’t have the solution.” Ouch.

Haha, Fat Sam's got under his suave skin !
Much as I dislike Allardyce, this is nice to see.
