Salsa dancing - help needed

Wifey wants me out of the pub and has decided that she wants us to have salsa lessons (dance not Mexican side dish). This is my idea of hell but she has always wanted to do it.

Basically, if I don't do it, she will go with one of her mates.

There is no way I am allowing her and her mad mates to get involved with some slimey, snake-hipped gigolo with high heels and wandering hands.

I thought about threatening to go on the lash every time she goes on the p̶u̶l̶l̶ dancing, but this would only speed up my alcohol etc related demise.

Self esteem? I am full of it, just cannot dance.
As for trust, my wife's mates do not fill m with trust. Yes, I know she is not them but once they get started, no one is safe.

Why don`t you go once, sus out what the instructor is like.

If he looks like the love child of Craig Revill Horwood and Gok Wan, you`re safe to return to the pub and let her go with mates.

If he`s a bit of a looker, humour her and go until the novelty wears off, which it will.
